"Everyone's heart is filled with songs as they listen to their own soul in every song, and those who's heart sings beautifully will find the songs of other's beautiful."

Monday - Friday 11:00 - 18:30

Saturday 11:00 - 17:00

Sunday 12:30 - 16:30

As part of Celtic Connections in the Community, Ando Glaso invites you to celebrate Glasgow's Roma culture with some of the amazing bands and performers from the local community including:

Taraful Din Glasgow - A high octane band playing Gypsy music from Romania.

ZOR - Seriously fiery new band of Slovakian and Czech Roma players.

Janos Kallai - Cimbalom virtuoso from Hungary joins the evening as a special guest.

DJ Leon - spinning the hottest Roma beats to finish off the evening.

You will have the opportunity to taste authentic Roma cuisine, and enjoy the hottest Gypsy music that will get you on your feet! Come and party the night away Roma style in the South Side's iconic Rum Shack!

After many successful, well attended workshops, we are delighted to launch our  reglurar Gypsy music classes. We offer group lessons for beginners and one to one tuition for more advanced players on various instruments. You can also join our mixed instrument group to play together with others. The classes are delivered by the best authentic Roma players available. Classes will appear here in January 2020.

We are working hard to promote and nurture Roma talent. To achieve that we continuously develop and deliver events, groups and performers for audiences both at a community and a mainstream level. Have a look at what we have been up to with generous support from Creative Scotland, Glasgow Life,  Big Lottery, BEMIS and partner organisations:
